Another Review!
The Hollywood Reporter is weighing in on Spider-Man 3 in a review that appears mostly positive (I only read the first paragraph): Hollywood Reporter's Spider-Man 3 Review Also, Fandango - and my Spidey Sense - alerted me today that tickets went on sale today for the midnight, May 3 opening of Spider-Man 3 in many markets. I grabbed some for Mary and me and the intrepid newspaper staff. Tickets may be available in your market, too. The Big Premiere
Spider-Man 3 premiered Monday in Tokyo, Japan. Reuters was first to publish a mini-review as it reported: "'Spider-Man 3' is packed with stunning special effects such as the crumbling, morphing Sandman and an evil black suit that brings out a person's dark side, but the characters also show a psychological complexity rarely seen in action movies." Sony starts Spider-Man's web in Japan By Matthew Garrahan in Los Angeles and Mariko Sanchanta in Tokyo Financial Times A summer of blockbuster films starts early on Monday when Sony Pictures Entertainment launches Spider-Man 3 in Japan before it appears in the US and Europe.
